Army chief off to Türkiye on five-day official visit
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today
(19 July) left here for Türkiye on a five-day official visit at the invitation
of the Turkish government.
During the visit, the Army chief will inspect
several defence industry establishments in Türkiye, according to a release
issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
He is also scheduled to hold courtesy meetings
and exchange views with senior officials of the Turkish Armed Forces and key
figures in the defence sector to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation
between Bangladesh and Türkiye, it said.
