Fifa World Cup: Most assists in a single tournament
Michael Olise became the
first player since 1994 to join the Fifa World Cup's list of
five single tournament assist providers at the 2026 edition.
Despite France's semi-final defeat to Spain, he still has one match, the third
place playoff, to surpass Pelé's all time record, set during Brazil's historic third
World Cup triumph in 1970.
